Game 20: Sanctuary

Welcome!

This is the twentieth game of 1880s: Bath Camarilla!

Where the sun never sets on Queen Victoria's empire, but vampires rule the world by gaslight. Set in April 1884.

♥ Out of Character the game takes place at "The Gothic Manor" in Knowle, Bristol.

♥ The venue is a gorgeous manor, for real! It is located in Bristol:

St Elizabeth House, 100 Redcatch Rd, Bristol BS4 2HQ

For In Character purposes we are in Reading, in a grand manor; this city is claimed by no Prince by edict of the Camarilla. Reading remains the fallow Elysial domain mentioned once upon a time in your early briefs:

"The Sanctuary city of Reading has long been the diplomatic hub of the Rose War, with Elysium enforced by both Mithras and the combined might of the Toreador Princes. As such, Reading has become a hotspot for information brokering, deals and politicking for most of the other Clans. Even Independant Clans such as the Ravnos have been seen there, manipulating and dealing in the gaslight."

The Camarilla have seen recent reason to "encourage" a meeting between the leading representatives of the Rose War and their agents or confidants, to faciliatate a reduction in the political conflict between Princes. The Justicar has announced an Elysium gathering on the night of April 13th, 1884. Elysium is open to anyone whose interests are affected by the tides of these matters - namely, any Acknowledged sect memners in England.

Therefore: EVERYONE IS INVITED.

Even the Tremere.

If you'd rather NPC do message us well in advance. You will still gain player XP.

♥ Hard time in is 6pm

♥SOFT Time out at 10pm

♥ HARD Time out at 1:00am*

Arrive from 5pm to kit up.

We have the manor from 4pm ♥

*We have our normal game venue hours, which is the official "game", plus an additional 3 hours should you be feeling nocturnal and want to get into some grittier roleplay or more intense conversation. This is because the venue supports much slower, qualitative roleplays across chaise lounges and in atmospherically-lit rooms!

The official OOC windown for any remaining players and NPCs is 1:00-2:00am, with folk expected to be out at 2:20am latest, please. If you wish to meet the soft timeout and leave at 10pm, there is no official plot occuring after that time - so please don't feel pressure to be on late! - and I will be downstairs OOC from soft time out for around half an hour to say goodbyes and tie up last queries OOC, before heading back into character. The additional hours are just a one-off bonus because the hall is expensive, and we'd like to make the most of it.

The venue is spacious, has lots of parking on site and room for OOC belongings. We will be using the lower basement level for OOC kitup and food. Please bring noms with you for yourself, or if you're feeling generous, to share.

♥ Please ensure you eat! ♥

The venue is a gorgeous manor, for real! It is located in Bristol:

St Elizabeth House, 100 Redcatch Rd, Bristol BS4 2HQ

Click the little Map link on this event page to see where it is. If you hit the date on the thumbnail image it should reveal the full address of the venue.

This game costs £7.50 to play, to help cover venue hire and prop costs.

You can pay for the game here.

There's a fully functioning OOC kitchen with microwave, kettle, cutlery etc if you want to bring your own food and drinks. We're allowed to consume alcohol, but do not break any glass, please!

Game Nineteen: Valentine's Salon

Game Nineteen: Valentine's Salon

Welcome!

This is the nineteenth game of 1880s: Bath Camarilla!

Now 1884…

This game takes place at our normal venue of Conygre Hall in Timsbury.

For In Character purposes this is a Valentine’s salon organised by the Keeper of Bristol, Elder Antigone. All sect members in the area are welcome.

For In Character purposes we are on the edge of Bristol, in its domain but at a *non-Elysial* site.

The core Traditions of the Camarilla still abide, of course, and so any killing is a direct breach of the Tradition of Destruction, and your life is suitably forfeit as per usual. Breaking Traditions is, arguably, as bad or very much worse than bloodying an Elysium (depending on which Justicar you ask).

If you'd rather play a ghouled blood bag for the night, you're welcome to. PCs can gain XP for being so "generous." Or for half the game, if you do desire.

We're expecting players to start arriving between 4pm and 5pm for an Out of Character briefing at 5:40pm.

The hard time-in 6:30pm.

Time out at 10:30pm.

PLEASE NOTE THE SHIFT OF HALF AN HOUR - we will need it for a longer briefing which includes consent rules for feeding/sexuality/violence. IF YOU ARE NOT AT THE BRIEFING YOU CANNOT PLAY OR NPC.

If your kit/make-up takes time, arrive at 4pm.

Late arrivals cannot be accepted for this game; contact me if you think you will be arriving after the brief, for whatever reason.

This venue spacious, has lots of parking on site and room for OOC belongings, a big stage - because every foppy Elysium needs a stage - and a fully-functioning kitchen. There's a Co-Op, McCalls and a chippie down the road, less than a couple minutes walk. Please ensure that you eat! lol

Conygre Hall is located near Bristol and Bath. It took me 20 minutes to get there from the centre of Bath. Their website is http://www.conygre-hall-timsbury.co.uk/

Click the little Map link on this event page to see where it is. If you hit the date on the thumbnail image, it should reveal the full address of the venue.

This game costs £7.50 to play, to help cover venue hire and prop costs.

You can pay for the game here.

There's a fully functioning OOC kitchen with microwave, kettle, cutlery etc if you want to bring your own food and drinks. We're allowed to consume alcohol, it's got full license for alcoholic sales too. You can also go get food from the fish and chip shop or shop down the road.

There is an OOC wind-down in this hall if you'd like to stay on after time-out. Obviously, it's a late game, so if you'd rather go home and get some well-earned sleep, that's more than O-Kay! :D

For this game I need a lot of NPCs! If you know anyone who might like being a vampire for the night at a more relaxed game please do put them in touch! Similarly, if you feel your character would not attend a foppy ball for whatever reason, I have potential snacky NPCs for grabs for this night. You can also play half the game and NPC the other half if you want variety. I need Primogens and Court positions filled. Message me on Facbeook (Savaria Black) or email (delia.drew@hotmail.co.uk).

If you hit the date on the thumbnail image of the masked lady, it should reveal the full address of the venue.

This game costs £7.50 to play, to help cover venue hire and prop costs.

You can pay for the game here.

There's a fully functioning OOC kitchen with microwave, kettle, cutlery etc if you want to bring your own food and drinks. We're allowed to consume alcohol, it's got full licence for alcoholic sales too. You can also go get food from the fish and chip shop or shop down the road.

There is an OOC wind-down in this hall if you'd like to stay on after time-out. Obviously, it's a late game, so if you'd rather go home and get some well-earned sleep, that's more than O-Kay! :D

Characters needing to be confirmed please message myself or Becca. The email icon on your screen's top right (or footer for mobile versions) will suffice; that or message us on the Facebook group.

Welcome!

This is the sixth game of 1880s: Bath Camarilla!

This game takes place at our normal venue of Conygre Hall in Timsbury.

We're expecting players to start arriving from 5pm for an Out of Character briefing at 5:40pm.

Perhaps the STs are just raging keen to hear your opinions on the game* and couldn't possibly wait for emails that week. Given that pubs close quite early in Bath we're leaning towards staying on at the venue for the OOC wind-down this time.

(*Or are just raging alcoholics.)

Characters still needing to be confirmed please message myself or Becca. You have plenty of time, and we are happy to accommodate large NPC numbers this time for folk wishing to trial out the game for a night.

Welcome!

This is the fourth game of 1880s: Bath Camarilla!

~Set in May, 1881~

OOC: This game takes place at the main Town Hall in Chippenham, which will be masquerading as our Aquae Sulis Elysium for the night. Keepers have lots of fun discovering new and previously unused wings of Elysium, honest. This is some ballroom that ours found lying around. (For IC ease, it's our regular Elysium, it's just a different venue OOC because Timsbury is unavailable until August onwards.)

Address:

The Town Hall,
High Street
Chippenham,
Wiltshire SN15 3ER

Find where to park in Chippenham:

The train station is close by!

We are NOT ALLOWED to bring our own alcohol. Please do not. However, we have a **private bar available all night** which is going to be open (you can buy alcohol and soft drinks here; the lovely barman is even happy to Victorian up for us lol it comes as part of the hall package - the bar hire, not the dressing the staff up). I will be getting in contact with Ben the Barman to find out exactly what is sold, prices of drinks etc.

This game costs £6.00 to play, to help cover venue hire and prop costs.

We have the hall booked from 4pm, at which point the Storytellers and a few helpers are going to be madly setting up. If you'd like to come along at this point, great! You can help us. If you're slow to kit up or have a lot of kit, come at this time.

Otherwise, we're expecting players to start arriving from 5pm for an Out of Character briefing at 5:30pm.

**The hard time-in 6pm.**

(Late arrivals are accepted, but if you're there after hard time-in your character is also fashionably late.) Please try to be early rather than late. Time out is currently 10pm, subject to change if we discover to bulk of players want earlier or later. Kick-out of the hall is 11pm, ooc relaxing after the game is encouraged. The bar stays open until around 10:45 and will be open all through the game. We're trying to decide whether it will be an IC bar or if that's just Dumb. Ideas appreciated!

There is *not* a kitchen available at this venue, I'll double check what their stance on food is and let you know.

Questions, have at us x

Game Three - Elysium

... it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.
- Charles Dickens

Welcome!

This is the third game of 1880s: Bath Camarilla!

Where the sun never sets on Queen Victoria's empire, but vampires rule the world by gaslight.

This game takes place at Conygre Hall in Timsbury, which will be masquerading as our Elysium for the night (we have imaginations!). It's spacious, has lots of parking on site and room for OOC belongings, a big stage - because every foppy Elysium needs a stage - and a fully-functioning kitchen. There's a Co-Op, McCalls and a chippie down the road, less than a couple minutes walk.

Conygre Hall is located near Bristol and Bath. It took me 20 minutes to get there from the centre of Bath. Their website is http://www.conygre-hall-timsbury.co.uk/

Click the little Map link on this event page to see where it is. If you hit the "Jan 9th" bit on the thumbnail image of the enigmatic mask lady, it should reveal the full address of the venue.

This game costs £6.00 to play, to help cover venue hire and prop costs.

You can pay for the game here.

We have the hall booked from (hopefully! just waiting on confirmation) 4:30pm, at which point the Storytellers and a few helpers are going to be madly setting up. If you'd like to come along at this point, great! You can help us.

Otherwise, we're expecting players to start arriving from 5pm for an Out of Character briefing at 5:30pm.

The hard time-in 6pm.

(Late arrivals are accepted, but if you're there after hard time-in your character is also fashionably late.) Please try to be early rather than late. Time out is currently 10pm, subject to change if we discover to bulk of players want earlier or later.

They're pretty relaxed about timing, so we have it until after midnight (12:30). If everyone wants to have a wind-down in this hall rather than head into Bath we'll stay at the venue. Let us know if you're a fan of going into town for a pub drink or would instead prefer a chill-out at the venue itself, so we can decide which is likelier. Obviously, it's a late game, so if you'd rather go home and get some well-earned sleep, that's more than O-Kay! :D The "post-game drinks" is just an informal froth and in no way obligatory. Perhaps the STs are just raging keen to hear your opinions on the game* and couldn't possibly wait for emails that week. Given that pubs close quite early in Bath we're leaning towards staying on at the venue for the OOC wind-down this time.
