... it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.
- Charles Dickens
Welcome!
This is the third game of 1880s: Bath Camarilla!
Where the sun never sets on Queen Victoria's empire, but vampires rule the world by gaslight.
This game takes place at Conygre Hall in Timsbury, which will be masquerading as our Elysium for the night (we have imaginations!). It's spacious, has lots of parking on site and room for OOC belongings, a big stage - because every foppy Elysium needs a stage - and a fully-functioning kitchen. There's a Co-Op, McCalls and a chippie down the road, less than a couple minutes walk.
Conygre Hall is located near Bristol and Bath. It took me 20 minutes to get there from the centre of Bath. Their website is http://www.conygre-hall-timsbury.co.uk/
Click the little Map link on this event page to see where it is. If you hit the "Jan 9th" bit on the thumbnail image of the enigmatic mask lady, it should reveal the full address of the venue.
This game costs £6.00 to play, to help cover venue hire and prop costs.
You can pay for the game here.
We have the hall booked from (hopefully! just waiting on confirmation) 4:30pm, at which point the Storytellers and a few helpers are going to be madly setting up. If you'd like to come along at this point, great! You can help us.
Otherwise, we're expecting players to start arriving from 5pm for an Out of Character briefing at 5:30pm.
The hard time-in 6pm.
(Late arrivals are accepted, but if you're there after hard time-in your character is also fashionably late.) Please try to be early rather than late. Time out is currently 10pm, subject to change if we discover to bulk of players want earlier or later.
There's a fully functioning OOC kitchen with microwave, kettle, cutlery etc if you want to bring your own food and drinks. We're allowed to consume alcohol, it's got full licence for alcoholic sales too. You can also go get food from the fish and chip shop or shop down the road.
They're pretty relaxed about timing, so we have it until after midnight (12:30). If everyone wants to have a wind-down in this hall rather than head into Bath we'll stay at the venue. Let us know if you're a fan of going into town for a pub drink or would instead prefer a chill-out at the venue itself, so we can decide which is likelier. Obviously, it's a late game, so if you'd rather go home and get some well-earned sleep, that's more than O-Kay! :D The "post-game drinks" is just an informal froth and in no way obligatory. Perhaps the STs are just raging keen to hear your opinions on the game* and couldn't possibly wait for emails that week. Given that pubs close quite early in Bath we're leaning towards staying on at the venue for the OOC wind-down this time.
(*Or are just raging alcoholics.)
